Okay. I know I have left you all hanging waiting on those fuchsia suit pics. My dear photographer is still asleep. In the meantime, I need some help with something else.
This is my new "Bailey-esque" striped dress, bought on super-surprising sale. It is a great light stretchy fabric that I figured I could wear fall, winter, and spring...with the right layering and footwear.
Problem? I'm not sure I have the right stuff. Certainly not so much for spring. And I would love a suggestion to "springily" this. If I had a white or cream jacket, do you think that might do the trick, along with some light footwear?
1 - the dress styled ladylike
2/3 - some footwear options for fall/winter
4 - with black crepe jacket - this works well, I think. But is a bit dressier than I usually need.
5 - attempt to pair with glen plaid jacket - fail because the colours are off; although they are both taupes, they are not the same.
6 - attempt to pair with soft lilac toned jacket. A bit weird I think.
7 - with denim and Reports - works okay but not fab in my view.
8 - crazy attempt to pair with raspberry cord jacket and flats.
9 - with denim, a belt, and Doc Marcies. Better for fall than spring, though.
10 - attempt to pair with my vintage kimono jacket. Hmmm.
I must apologize for the awful light here; it was a dark rainy day when we took these and the colours are not great as a result, and I was not looking my best.
Would appreciate knowing which looks you like and what I might do to "springily" the dress a little bit to get a few wears out of it this season if possible.
