I spotted this dress the other day at the Lucky Brand store and decided to try it. It’s very lightweight and feels amazing on (its 94 degrees here right now, so a great test of a summer dress). The color is a little more bluish than the photos appear (and I don’t have makeup on yet), but you get the idea. It has a self-tie belt, but I don’t like belts on me these days — they just chop me up when I’m looking for long-and-lean, so I pulled the tie belt back and tied it in back to give the dress a little more shape through the waist.
I’ve been wearing it around the house with tags on, and hubs and I are going to go out to eat (the AC is broken so no cooking for us tonight!), so I’m thinking of cutting the tags and keeping.
PS And I’m going back to our bedroom with some windex — yeesh, th smudges on the mirror!
