I just heard about this collaboration a couple of days ago and I'm really excited to see the collection. I love Issa London wrap dresses (alas, out of my budget).

I'm a big Milly fan, but I wasn't very impressed with their collection for BR a few months ago. But I really like the look of the Brown tiny-print Zebra drape dress in their Issa London preview above. I'll definitely skip the blue Kate Middleton "engagement" dress knock-off, only because I think it's so iconic now. I don't want to look like a copy cat. But I LOVE it as an article of clothing, I think it's a beautiful dress and was perfect for her.

I'll be super sad if all the dresses are polyester jersey.

I think the collection hits stores on August 8. Anyone else planning to check it out?

Fun! It will be great to see these when they come out. I expect they will be poly jersey, though.

Yes, I'm excited about it! I have poly jersey dresses, but they are sleeveless. I actually love them. Have you tried poly jersey? (I'm not a fan of poly in general.)

Adelfa, I don't have anything against polyester jersey in general. I just find that it doesn't absorb sweat very well and I hate that feeling I get when I am wearing it and get hot. So I avoid it, especially for warm weather clothing.

Zap, LUCKY! I'm super jealous right now. I think I will just check out the website first thing in the morning to see what they have. I hope you post a little report about what you've seen! I'd love to get a sneak preview.

Ornella, I hear you. I'm short and have short legs so the dresses will probably hit me at the knee. I have a friend though who has really long legs and is tall, and we have the hardest time finding skirts and dresses that are long enough for her. I wish they had more variety in stores right now. It seems like with the introduction of midi-skirts, fashion is finally starting to slowly change.

There are 40 pieces in the collection, so I'm looking forward to seeing what else is in store.

I really wish they were longer too. I know KM likes showing her knees, but not all of us do!

Love the the dresses, but the length is rather discouraging. I checked photos online, and Kate's dress comes just to the top of her knee. Are the BR models just really tall? Are the younger women that BR is courting still wanting dresses midthigh?

I am officially in love! If they came to my knee, that is. I wouldn't wear a dress that short anywhere but date night. And with toddler, there just aren't that many date nights. One in 21 months to be exact!

I love all of these, but I am bummed that they're so freaking short. I need very few dresses for my off time, so if I can't wear one for work, it's not happening. At least not at that price point.

Yes, I'll be interested to see how long these dresses end up being. They usually indicate the length in inches on the site (although not always). A 36" dress usually hits me right around the top of the knees.

Lyn, me too! Hee hee. I wish it at least came in a different color, so it wasn't SO much like the original, you know?

Oh; 36" is about 2" above the knees for me (5'7").

I do wish it came in a different colour, Ana - even for choice. A beautiful coral, perhaps? Pippa has one in red, I think.
