ISO: Red Peep Toe Pumps - YouLookFab Forum

I've been trying to find a cute pair of peep toe pumps. Something not ridiculously high (3" or under) with a stable heel and a retro vibe. Something flirty. What I've discovered is that most red peep toes are in styles that are often ultra sexy instead of flirty. Any ideas?

I've looked at these Jeffrey Campbell (#1), but they are OUT OF STOCK (so cruel!) in my size.

I've also looked at these Franco Sarto (#2) and Miz Mooz (#2 and #3). Franco Sartos seem a little business like. Miz Mooz 1, I like but I'm not sure about the white. Has anyone seen these in person? Miz Mooz 2, not a peep toe, but probably a good style. Maybe I'm just being too picky about wanting a peep toe. Any other ideas?

EDIT: I'm hiding #1 (everyone's favorite, including mine) since it is out of stock and likely unattainable. Any thoughts on 2 through 4?

i like #1 as flirty and different but that's just me. #3 is kind of retro 80s which I like.

I love the first pair. The SA at Nordstrom is trying to hunt them down in my size as we speak, but it is looking a little bleak. Only two pairs in the entire system, and neither store could locate them on the floor when the SA called the stores this morning. I'd snap up #1 in an instant if only they were available!

*Sigh* At least I know that my impulse was right. # 1 is pretty fabulous. If the SA works magic and locates it, I promise to BBQ and post asap for everyone to enjoy.

#2 is quite girly, so if that's your style that's a great girly-retro option. I think #4 is versatile, but feels the least bit retro out of those three. #3 would be the pair I would pick for myself, a little retro a little modern.

Anya, thanks very much for the ideas. They are all super cute!

The Michael Kors shown in black in your post, but available in red suede, is probably the closest to what I'm looking for and may work. I'm hesitant about sling backs, though. We've had a rough history together, slingbacks and me.

The red wedges with the cork soles seem a little high, but I'm going to look at them in the video since sometimes pictures can be deceiving. Also, I wasn't thinking patent, but I'm not sure why. I have nude patent and black patent, but red patent seems overwhelming to me. No good reason for that. (UPDATE: no video this time on Zappos, so I just ordered them and a few others to try them on, including these Miz Mooz: http://vip.zappos.com/miz-mooz-sailor-red .)

The height and skinny heel on the Ivanka Trumps rule them out for me for this search. I was hoping for something with a stacked heel or wedge to make them less sexy bombshell and more flirty bombshell.

The Rupert Sanderson ones? Drooooool, but out of my league expensive. Very fun to look at though!!!

Thanks for helping me on my hunt. I really really appreciate the ideas. Off to look at the Michael Kors wedges now......

Thanks, Meredith! I did remove #1. It was the runaway winner, but it is sold out everywhere as I mentioned in my posts. No one was commenting on the other shoes (the ones I could actually buy!) because they, like me, were completely in love with #1, so I hid #1.
