ISO recos for hairstyle apps

I'm in the mood for a new hairstyle in 2026, My long time hairdresser is really good at executing whatever I ask her to do and she understands how my hair works, but she's not so great at imagining/suggesting new styles. There are so many of these free apps that I don't know where to start! I'm wondering if any of you have had good experiences with free "try a new hairstyle" apps, using AI or otherwise.

I haven't followed through with any of those apps because they all want info/data/etc. I use IG or Pinterest for hair ideas, although Pinterest is now almost exclusively AI generated looks, I find. Too bad your stylist can't recommend what's new and interesting - I think that's an important service. If she understands your hair well enough, she should be able to look at a pic you've found and decide how to modify it.....

Unless you have very fine hair - which it doesn't look like you do, Chris! - most cuts are available to you. Excellent that your stylist knows your hair well! Very important.

I think your best bet is to ask the forum for hairstyle suggestions. And see if your stylist can modify the look to suit your hair and needs. I have a suggestion or two

When in the past I have tried those apps I have been disappointed, but maybe with AI things have improved? I think posting a picture and letting Angie and others make suggestions is an excellent idea.
