HEWI alert: looking for the perfect linen pants. The ideal candidate will:
1. Be cut with a wide-leg or flared silhouette
2. Be made of very soft, lightweight, preferably stretch-blend linen
3. Have a delicate waist (hard to find because most have big thick drawstrings, bulky tie belts, or too-wide smocked elastic bands)
4. Preferably have no pockets (often add volume to the hips), but if there are pockets, the seams won't show on the outside
5. Be versatile, going easily from casual to somewhat dressy
Have
been looking at the usual places without much luck... Old Navy used to
have good ones, but this year they are cut huge around the waist and
short on the legs, so I can't size down.
