ISO concealer recommendations

Hi everyone, beauty product talk is ok here, right? If not please let me know or maybe one of the admins can move to off topic?

I’m looking for recommendations for a natural/eco-friendly/cruelty free concealer. I don’t wear foundation but I like to wear concealer around my eyes and nose to even out my skin tone a bit.

I was using RMS Beauty un-coverup for quite a while and it worked well but then it started causing these persistent clogged pores (so then I felt like I needed to wear concealer to cover up the clogged pores which...is suboptimal in my book). I picked up some liquid concealer by burt’s bees at the drugstore but it feels very sticky and kinda stings.

Any other suggestions for a product that would be good for sensitive skin?

I don’t think I want foundation or tinted moisturizer because (1) it takes heavier coverage to deal with my under eye circles and (2) I don’t like the feeling of something all over my face (are you sensing a them here haha).

I got several samples of Tarte Shape Tape & like it a lot. I have wickedly sensitive skin, prone to break outs & it hasn't irritated my skin-yet-but I haven't used it for that long. They have a massive range of shades & it can be used for contour too. It is however a bit dry.
I'm sure it's loaded with chemicals, it isn't really drugstore price, but it is cruelty free, which is harder & harder to find. Which says too much.

It comes in a zillion shades so it was easy to find a good color. I don't know how natural it is, but they are cruelty free/not tested on animals. It does not cause my rosacea or eczema to flare, so I keep using it.

You might look for something without silicones, I find them pore clogging.

I really like Kosas Revealer. Very natural looking coverage; I use it own its own or over sunscreen (both tinted and plain) and it works fine either way. Feels very light on the skin and never seems to settle into creases the way some do. I will say I don't love the smell, but it seems to dissipate once it sets. The Find goes to Nordstrom (ETA have no idea why the brand is listed as Hugo Boss?!), but I ordered direct from Kosas and they were great about helping me find the right shade, and sent a replacement in the correct colour free of charge when the first one didn't work out.

I don’t know about the cruelty free status, but I’m a fan of Nars radiant creamy concealer.

You might like Jane Iredale's Circle Delete. It is creamy, like the RMS product. I used to use it and then switched to RMS just to try something different. The two products seem pretty similar.

The Jane Iredale comes with two colors in the container, one to color-correct the circles and one to lighten the area.

I don't know if this product would work for someone with very dark or tanned skin. I think it is more for fair-to-light tones. Darker skintones are to use the Enlighten Concealer, I believe.

Here's another vote for NARS Creamy Concealer... Can't speak to the cruelty free aspect, but i do have sensitive skin and it works great.

I like Boing concealer. I've watched it make my pimply spots disappear completely. I have no clue how sustainable it is or isn't, nor do I know anything about their corporate ethos; I just love the stuff because it works like magic
