I am searching for a comfortable summer sandal. I picked up a pair this weekend from TJMaxx, but the more I think about them, the more I know they will not be comfortable for any length of time - they are completely flat with a very thin sole.
My most favorite recent shoe purchase (a year ago) was leopard flats from Birdies, which are like walking on air. I use these as my house shoes and I honestly don't think I will ever go back to ordinary slippers. https://birdies.com/products/w.....5312640080
I may order the Birdies sandal in cheetah or persimmon, but I don't love the leather criss-cross, which makes my long toes look really long - I prefer the horizontal straps of a Birkenstock - but they are too loose on my low volume feet. And if I am totally honest, I really want cognac or white.
Any thoughts or recos from the group?
