That bag is actually on my bag list -- in the natural color. I think it's a beautiful tote and the color can go with everything. As far as quality, you can hardly do better than the Florentine line, and Dooney bags are pretty rock solid.
I have a few other tote bags on my list for the fall, but I'm a self proclaimed bag junkie, and you should proceed down this list at your own risk :).
The Whipping Post has a really nice tote, not as dressy as Dooney - it's unlined though, and I think the strap isn't as long - but depends on your size.
Will Leather is another of my favorite bag makers. The Signature Tote is just something I think would work well for me to grab & go, but it's not fully leather. The Beck is ohh la la and I like the handles.
This bag is my current daily bag. So far the bag seems indestructible, and I do not baby it at all. I like that it's open, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. It's my work tote and can carry a 15 inch Macbook, though the site will lead you to think you need the large for a laptop. I have an "old" tobacco color (they just updated to the dirty looking one) which is really similar to the Dooney in color. My next one will be Chestnut or Dark Coffee, because I think they would look sharp for work.
