New shoes - is Whitney the one?

I need new black flats for work for the tired/walking/standing days. To wear with pants and sometimes skirts. My look is elegant modern corporate classic.EMCC.. what do you think of these new Munros - Whitney? Will she work for my EMCC style or is it a bit frumpy? What do you think?

I think the shoes are cute, but they don't say EMCC to me. More artsy, comfortable, relaxed, casual.

Does the black have the same wingtip detailing? I think they're lovely and classic. I hesitate to say elegant, just because mary janes have a practical vibe to them which is sort of the opposite of elegant, at least in my head. But I think they're nice shoes, and sometimes wearability has to be an important factor.

They don't exactly read as corporate, but it's a relatively classic shape. If they make your feet happy, I don't think they'd be terribly out of place with EMCC.

I think they look classic for sure, and I could see them going to the office or going with jeans for days off, too. Are you thinking black leather or suede? The leather might have more of the corporate look, and I find the suede very pretty.

Firecracker, yes I am thinking the leather so they can be cleaned and worn year round. They will be replacing a pair of Hassias which were black patents in the Salvatore Ferragamo style with the grossgrain bow. The patent looked dressy even though they were flats. But I think I need shoe to hold onto my foot more as I walk to work, and business travel required miles in airports, getting around etc. So they need to be comfortable, dressy and versatile - that's all lol!

Boy, nice you use the word corporate, I'm not sure. Corporate to me means you follow a dress code at work that may supercede your own preferences, if that makes sense. Or that there might be days for this and for that. And very office- specific.
That said, these could be styled with certain outfits to leverage them to their best look- if THAT makes sense-- so I would build the outfit around the shoes..

I share your style descriptor and I would be challenged to incorporate these into my ensembles. They don't read elegant or modern, or really corporate either! I get needing the comfort. I've purchased fully 4 pairs of work appropriate flats this year including silver aerosols, quilted tan/gold ballet flats, black ankle strap pointy toed Franco Sartos (which I think would really fit this hole for you) and traditional black comfort ballet flats. Like so many on the forum I have in the last couple years really shifted to flatter shoes - tho I do still wear heels plenty! - and this EMCC is z hard one to fit lower shoes into. I am a pointy toe pump gal to my core (buying 2.5 instead of 3 or more inch these days!) so I am really challenged here too

I don't know about you, but I have to at least see a shoe on my foot to know how it will work for me. It's both the appearance and the comfort that have to be tried first. I say, give 'em a try!
