Is this worth breaking SYC?

It is a beautiful purse. However, if you are going to break SYC for it, ask yourself it is something that you absolutely love and that you need and will use. I have found that asking myself these questions helps me determine if an item is worth breaking SYC.

I'm guessing it is Final Sale since it is one Gilt. That alone makes it a no for me. Otherwise, I'd say go for it.

I think on clothes and shoes they will take returns. I've noticed on accessories they don't.

I'm still thinking. I have a tendency to use and abuse purses for a while. I'm afraid the lambswool will look ratty after a while. I almost bought a Marni shearling purse last year, but instead got a black Givenchy Nightingale.

I'd say no. You live in a rainy wet climate and the smell of wet lambswool won't be fab... Get a scarf like this instead - I have one in teal that I love!

Point. Where I am is very dry. I own a few furry purses, and none of them are unsheared.

What I do like about this one, to be honest, is that it is structured so the lambswool is a witty counterpoint.

Agree with Heather - if you're going to break SYC (no judgment!) I'd go for something much more fab and on something that would last a long time.

ETA; This might even be the one I have, which I got last year at Last Call. It is a great way to add some warmth and jazz up my winter coats because it looks like a collar and has a clip to keep it close to the neck.

Yes, I do but my commuting clothes are very boring. I ride the bus. Today it was short shearling lined moto boots, old cashmere brown Vince hoodie, skinny jeans, olive trench and black hat. I wear shoes or boots that I actually run after a bus in, and pretty much dress for the weather. I will wear the same clothes all week, because the amount of hours they actually get worn is very low. I just outed my big sartorially secret.
So on my off days I actually like to dress up. If I am going out after work I will dress for that.
