Would this be redundant?

I think you should make good use of the ones you already have. I imagine you don't want things to go out of style before you get to get some good use out of them. The shape of these pants seem similar to pants that you have already. These do have some interesting detail but I don't think that would really change the feel of an outfit as much as how you style the whole picture.
