It's pretty short. The last time I wore a skirt that short I got sexually harassed by taxi drivers so badly I ran into the Gap for a replacement - any replacement.
Hate to mention Britney Spears, but that is what the plaid and pleats evoke for me. Love the shape of the LaGarconne piece. Wonder if there is a more affordable one in the same silhouette. Suede maybe?
Makes me think of Aussie band the Divinyls! For me it's not just he length, its the pattern which makes the overal look to my mind a tad juvenile. I much prefer the black pony, it just looks classier.
Salarymen pervs? Brittney Spears? Sexy Schoolgirl strippers? Being sexually harrassed by cab drivers? Interesting reactions for a skirt. Given those comments, I'm voting to give the skirt a pass.
The cut of the mini kilt is fabulous. It does not read as juvenile to my eye but the skirt would not allow for any kind of freedom of movement ( and I'm awfully fond of sitting) so is too short IMO.
Well I suppose it really dépends on the effect you are going for. I would agree with all above comments if you are planning to wear said skirt during the daytime at any respectful establishment such as work or school. That said, there's nothing wrong with wearing a too-short-skirt that evokes reactions if you are going out to a club with girlfriends looking for trouble on a Friday night ... Maybe you are wanting to be a provocateur? Hey, why not?!
