I have had this dress a little while from AT Loft and just getting around to snapping some pics to see what you think. I went up a size just because it added a little more length. I just love the print and felt it would be an easy one to wear as is, with leggings or skinnies as a tunic. I thought I might be able to wear it with my cognac or black boots come fall...what do you lovely ladies think....is it too short?

I don't think its too short at all. I think its great with leggings but I can totally see this by itself in the summer, with sandals

Oh this makes me so happy, Victoria and Jonesy. It is such a challenge for me to find dresses long enough, WOOHOO! I kind of liked the self belt too, Jonesy, but was wondering if that's a no-no, but I'm guessing not:)

I think for some people the self belt is a no-no, but I like it here because it does its job without drawing too much attention to itself, if that makes sense :).

Not too short at all - and in fact, pretty darned fabulous! Love it both with and without the leggings.

I like it both ways and can see it working with tights and boots and a jacket or sweater in the fall. I do prefer the other than self-belt.

I don't think it is too short if you are comfortable with this length. You have great legs so it works.

I think it's so pretty. I love it with and without the leggings - it seems like a great dress to transition to fall with.

I like it with bare legs and with leggings. A great look on you, and not too short. If you anticipate doing a lot of bending, etc., you can go with the leggings. For more subdued activities, go with bare legs or boots. No worries! I'd kind of like to see the size down, though; was it all that much shorter? I like both belt options you've shown here, and with the smaller size, you might also have the option of going beltless occasionally. Just a thought.

Firecracker, you make a good point about being able to wear the smaller size without a belt. I actually liked the smaller size best but it was noticeably shorter and therefore would have only been a tunic for me. Hopefully,the bigger size doesn't look too bad. I ripped the tags off tonight and wore into a neighborhood party.

I think that the length looks okay without leggings, but oh boy, the way you styled the dress with leggings underneath made my heart flutter. Gorgeous outfit, Carole!

I really love all versions styled with a black belt. I am not against self belts, I just think the black looks really good. Love the leggings and the sandals.
