Is this too boring for a white watch?

I'm trying to find a casual white watch that will stand up to my everyday wear and tear with two little ones in tow. I found this one but I'm not sure about it...is it too boring?

I like it, but I wear a very plain white watch myself, which I purchased at the beginning of 2007, so perhaps I'm not the right person to ask!:)

I actually saw this watch in a shop last Saturday Dani, and really liked it as well.

But I think Angie is right: I'm tall too (with undelicate wrists unfortunately;-) and I've discovered that I definitely need a bulkier watch. (even the Fossil one I liked, didn't work out). I'm thinking a man's watch might look good too?

I'll keep an eye out for white watches for you!

Wow, that was a blast from the past to see Swatch brand. I didn't know those were still around ... does anyone remember those watch guards from the 80s that went over your Swatch?

So... bulkier in the band or a larger face? This one is 1.5 inches wide. What am I looking for?

Hmmm, since I am petite with tiny wrists, I wonder whether this will work for me??? I love Swatch by the way - the company is definitely more popular around the world than here in the U.S. where they can't seem to get away from their 80's reputation for cheap, trendy, plastic watches. Check out their website - it is very cool! I actually did a project on Swatch for school - did you know that it is the largest watch company in the world (in terms of sales)? They are actually on their way to completely dominating the entire swiss watch industry.

Do you mean the first Swatch watch Dani linked to Shana?
I would definitely give that one a try if you like it. Angie and Tanya e.g. have tiny wrists too and their 'bulky' (in proportion to their build) watches look fantastic.

Over here the Swatch brand is still very popular, but not such a hype anymore as 10 years ago. I didn't realize they are the largest watch company though, wow!

Ooohh, Antje, that watch is so fun! Thanks for the link. My husband is looking for a birthday present for me so I printed out the Diesel watch and a round-face watch at Fossil and gave him the choice (so I'd be a little surprised ). I'm really hoping he goes with the Diesel watch as I'm thinking the squared face is more "me" but we'll see what I end up with.

Dani, I saw the Diesel watch at Nordstrom today (I too am scouting white watches as my birthday is approaching!) and thought I should tell you that the watch is gi-normous! I mean, the face is HUGE. (Am I getting the point across?) It looks like my husband could easily wear it, and he's 6' 2". No kidding. Have you seen it in person?

The salesperson who showed me watches was wearing a white Fossil watch that's a knockoff of the ceramic Michele watches. Michael Kors makes a good knockoff too, and I might hint to my husband about that one
