Is this sweater dated?

I have this old sweater, and actually a second one that's similar and even older. This one has a cowl neck and the other a sort of split cowl. Does this look dated? Also it's weird to have a sweater with short sleeves right?

I actually really like it. It looks kind of mod to me and I have been seeing a lot of mod type items plus it is colorblocked and that is definitely on trend. I hear you on the short sleeves though. I have a cardigan with short sleeves and think its weird but I like it and wear it, lol.

I think it looks current especially with the color blocking. I have a few short sleeve sweaters that I don't often wear, not that it's weird just that if short sleeves are in order the sweater is usually too warm, if that makes sense.

I quite like it on you, actually! It suits you! And I don't think it is at all dated. I agree that short sleeved sweaters are weird for our climate, though. They might work better on the west coast. How does it look with a little jacket over it?

Color blocking is still on trend. I'd keep.

Don't think it's weird to have short sleeves on a sweater. Good for layering and also A/C.

It's fab, does not look old at all, looks great on you, but does call for some layering. Given that you have such pure, uncomplicated style that would be my only concern with regards to decision to keep it - otherwise I wouldn't think twice.

I have a short-sleeved sweater with an odd neck that is sorta cowl-like. This winter I figured out I could layer underneath with long-sleeved tees which is cozy warm in dead of winter. Do you have any striped ones?

It's great! You can always cut the sleeves off if you don't like them but I think they look good!

I like it! Colorblocking is still around, for sure. I don't think a sleeveless sweater is weird, but I live in CA. They are good for wearing under 3/4 length sleeve jackets, though, because then you don't have sleeves hanging out.

the mod look is trending up. black and "white" is definitely a do.

this look though is timeless to me. i will wear it even if the whole world goes to harem pants.

Looks modern and current to me! I love it. I remember in the 90's I had a couple os short sleeve turtle necks that I would wear in Spring.

I think the colorblocking totally makes it current! Short sleeved sweaters work great under jackets and are nice for spring/fall.

Agree with the ladies -- colorblocking makes it look current and no problem with the short sleeves (says another Californian). Plus, it just plain looks good on you
