Is this right? Crops with ankle boots lab!

I've only worn these crops with loafers or slip on tennies and feel like I should be able to wear them with ankle boots since everyone else is doing it!

Angie's post today is a reminder for me to expand different silhouettes into my style ...I would so appreciate your feedback!

Is this ok?

First set is without tucking and second set with a partial tuck..,,all suggestions and tips welcome!

I think the low contrast between the ankle boots and the pants is a good way to start with this. I know I always take baby steps with new things, whether it's a new silhouette or not matching to the color somewhere else. I think it looks great! And I have a slight preference for the untucked version. You look chic and polished and effortless!

Not only are the boots and trousers low contrast to your skin but they also somewhat bookend your hair. I think this works!

I think it works. I might even try more roll, or a wider roll, just gaining s half inch or inch, since the bootirs are just s bit slanted front to back.
I kid the top untucked. I think that works because you've got a long legline with the matching pant and boot color.

The boots are great with the pants. I'd roll the pants just a little more - and I much prefer the semi-tuck over the untuck version. The semi-tuck gives you a longer leg-line and looks much more polished - IMO!

I love this look and think you nailed it! Like others have said, the low contrast is really working for you, especially since the booties are flat. I like both the tucked and untucked versions. You're giving me inspiration to try out this look

Joy, I haven't worn these crops uncuffed, if that's what you mean...they would probably just meet the top of the boot. Hmmmm maybe I should try that and see how it looks. Thanks for the idea!
