So a while back I posted a leather jacket I was gaga about (pictures 3-8). Reviews were mixed; people were concerned about the color and the cut (i.e. that it made my shoulders look hunched). I still love the piece but I recognize that it may not be the best piece for me. I picked up (for a song!) another candidate (first two pictures). It's not as intrinsically gorgeous and unique as the first jacket, but it doesn't have the padded shoulders that some people found problematic on me, and the color is richer.
The questions are: do you like the new jacket? (I want it more as an indoor piece than as an outerwear piece.) More pressingly, should I return the first (lighter-colored) jacket?
