Is this edgy enough for me?

I wouldn't call it an edgy shoe, but it has a classic vibe with an original detail that could make it a memorable/different shoe. I'm sure it could become edgier paired with other items.

The shoe reads quite lady-like and pretty to me, but the hint of metal paired with the right outfit could help give it an edge or at least a bit of irony. Very different from your usual footwear, so it depends on what you are looking to achieve. I could see them off-setting a dramatic outfit, serving as an understated backdrop that lets other pieces take the spotlight.

I don't think the first pair are edgy but they are fashion forward and incredibly versatile.

Kenzo sweater + ex boyfriend shorts + mid heels (check)
Floral bomber + harem jeans + mid heels (check)
Stalked Pendleton suit + mid heels (check)

I think they are the perfect ladylike counterpoint to edgy pieces.

What Roseandjoan said. I've come to appreciate the strength of pieces that are not overtly edgy but can work in the context of an outfit with other edgier pieces. I'm picturing those pumps with one of your edgy jackets and BF jeans, and I think the juxtaposition can be even more intriguing than a head-to-toe edgy look.

Sorry to keep on, but I am looking again, and the second ones seem more you. A bit more fashion-forward. Ankle straps are big now and would look really amazing on your fab legs. If this heel us too high, I'm betting you could find a similar shoe with a more reasonable heel. Angie's Okala pumps come to mind -- I've been tempted by them myself.

I love those Kurt Geiger pumps so much, I could marry them. Seriously edgy and gorgeous. I don't know what qualifies as 'high' for you, but the description says it's a 3 1/4" heel, which makes it a mere half an inch higher than the Okala pump, going by Nordstrom's description...

Just call me the Great Enabler Especially because at some point, I know work will pick back up for you.

I really like the first pair and I think the gold tip give the shoe a subtle edginess. The second shoe seems more "you" but that heel would be too much for me - I wouldn't even be able to walk across the room in those!

I think the answer is different for each person. For me classic shoes don't usually do it. I tend to want my "edge" in my jackets & shoes.

I actually think theair look more edgy (and spendy!) due to the restrained details and lower heel. Much more modern to my eye. Don't want to offend those who love the KGs, but the spindly heel and zipper and buckle almost has a vibe like it might have been at Charlotte Russe A couple years ago. *ducks* Sorry to be blunt...

I agree with rae in that the heel on the KGs doesn't look modern to me but I can't keep a pump on so I would need the ankle strap

I think it's all in the styling. I like them a lot. The metal trim adds an edge and tis is not a look I am seeing on the streets where I live.

I like the pony too! I can actually see a case to be made for any of these shoes for your style. I keep picturing how fab a shiny/metallic jacket would be with those metal-accented pumps.

I don't know about you, but I'm starting to be more attracted to slightly more refined, less RATE styles in footwear. I still want something distinctive and with an edge, but I'm appreciating more streamlined shoes these days. My recent shoe closet-clean out project helped me realize this.
