The plaid is perfectly matched. I really like the zipper detail across the back yoke.

I don't see that it will come across as that special in the end. For me I think of clothing units and does it play a role where it carries its weight.

Will you get pleasure from the Pendleton plaid? If so, I would go with that. I'm not sure that plaid is something I would invest in. It is gorgeous though - you have such great taste!

It's a beautiful shirt, Anna. It looks so exquisitely made. I guess it might come down to trying both on and comparing how you feel in each. You'd look great in these colours.

You know the more I think about it the more I realize it's not really going to work for my reality. In the Seattle long fall/winter/spring I almost always wear a jacket or sweater so that would cover up the zipper detail.

If you can find a Pendleton plaid you like I think I'd go with a Pendleton. Good point that the zipper detail would be mostly hidden.

It's got beautiful shape and the turned plaid on the pockets is kaleidoscope cool, but... yeah there's a but... it still reads plaid shirt and it's not a Pendleton. I mean, Pendleton is quintessential.
