So when I saw the first image, just the pant, I really liked them. They looked like it was just the shin exposed which I found cool and pretty sexy. When I saw them on the model all I could think about is that the 'party in the back' section would constantly be flapping and getting twisted and wrapped around the other leg.
I think it's cool if worn by someone with a build like the model's and to an event like the NY fashion week. That way you can dress it up, stand out in the crowd and then put it away.
I agree with Spiffy -- they look cool while you are standing still in a windless environment, but I think that in actual practice the long tails would flap around in an annoying way.
