Is this coat too youthful?

So, still in the hunt for a peacoat and came across this:

My style is mostly classic, and this is more vintage/retro, but would it be a fun piece to wear or too youthful for an older person? I only like the off-white color.

Go for it. The pink and blue look more girlish and possibly too youthful than the white or black.

In off-white, I think the look is all in the styling, and not too youthful. Just don't try if you have a big black dog --- or cat. I speak from sad experience!

This coat made my roundups list. It's great, although narrow in the hip, so would not suggest it, if you are pear shaped. It's also not that warm, so excellent for a mild Winter climate. Totally age appropriate when worn with a sophisticated edge.

This Topshop coat blew me away. It's an extremely good fit for a man coat. Again, not that warm, but excellent for a mild climate. And of course, these will need to be your colours. It took dicipline for me to walk away from the apple cream version. I walked away because I just bought a shocking pink man coat.

Joy, love your enthusiasm to "go for it!" While reading your comment, an old tv commercial popped in mind to "go for the gusto..."

BethAnn, I do get "hung up" a little in the styling process, hence my concern. No black pets here, only a tabby cat!

Angie, thanks for your help! I may try the off white coat because we have mIld winters here in southern US.
Also adore the lime green one you posted! How vibrant and cheerful! I'm an hourglass so maybe it would work. Haven't tried TS sizing before, so would a size six work for my regular size eight since I'm not wild about oversized garments.

I don't see the off-white as trying too hard to be youthful. I say try it. The only thing i'd be worried about is it being too warm, but that depends on where you are in the South (yay another southern girl!).

I got that coat and I think I love it! I got the cream. It is so soft and very comfortable. I agree with Angie that it probably won't be super warm but that's fine for me.

Oh and I am 51

Denise, Topshop sizing runs TTS or a little small. If you're a size 8, I would suggest a size 8 in that coat.
