Bonnie - I've never owned birds, but they do seem interesting.

Angie - you seem to be the exception here to not have to adjust with your little doggie.

Suz - that innocent pic didn't fool me at all.

Ryce - I can just imagine trying to be good before giving in. Your coat sounds like a good solution.

Jill58 - those are some captivating eyes.

Lyn - this reminds me that my cat also leaves holes in our fitted sheets. It's a good inducement to make our beds, but he finds a way into them. I found a couple extra fitted sheets at Home Goods. I'm about at he point of not trying to match my sheets anymore because I'm picky about my sheets, and they are expensive. One more reason he's a handful!

Minimalist - I need more lint rollers in my house. Must remember on my next Target run.

Bridgie - You are so sweet. I'm glad to share kitty stories and pics. I actually found out recently I'm allergic to cats, so this will be my last one. I have never owned a dog, but think I will head in that direction after this cat. Now I just have to get DH on board. I hope you get your animal fix from others around you.

Runcarla - luckily I'm not that allergic, but plenty of my friends and family are. Sounds like you've had a parade of little characters. Good thing DH is so handy.

JAileen - so cute. I am seriously checking out dogs like never before. I may try to find a rescue to help at to see how I do around dogs.

Oh wait... not clothes, but I can't have loose knitted blankets... well ok, can't have loose knitted sweaters either. They don't stand up to the Flattening The Serengeti Maneuver...

Bridgie, those are three cats although one of them weighs enough to be three cats.

Delurked, I LOVE that you call your cat a brat. And love reading about everyone's pets

I have two cats, one that looks exactly like your orange guy but is well behaved, except that if I leave my cashmere wrap on the couch he will lie on it and knead it, although he does not seem to shed much not does he do much damage. I mostly take it away from him.

My other cat is black, and a total brat. He likes to sit on my shoulders (and groom my hair) an when he is getting up there any garment I have on my shoulders (and my shoulder skin) are going to be clawed. I won't let him do it if I'm wearing something delicate. He loves to shred paper but preferably some sort of wrapping paper that has been crunched up. Most of his bratty behavior is not related to any of this, but is about walking up to the orange cat and whacking him to start a tussle. We have declared him to be of the sub-species "braticus boyicus". Maybe your orange guy is from that same sub-species.

I had a cat a few years ago had white and grey fur. He was part angora or something and I always had white cat hair on all my black clothes. All he had to do was walk into the closet and his fur would literally drift through the air onto my clothes. Lots of lint roller action in those days.

Chris987 - even in the pics you can tell the black cat is the troublemaker. The upside of our cat, Crush, is that he likes and interacts with every member of the family. That's a pretty impressive quality in a cat.

Hahaha, super funny thread Delurked! I loved reading all the stories. Having 5 cats I should avoid dark items of clothing but I just gave up. At my workplace we keep a lint roller because most of us are pet-owners and sometimes we arrive to office covered with pet hair ... Rather than avoiding certain items of clothing, I must be careful not to leave small objects on tables. My cat Gedeon, a terrible rascal, and the only boy among the girls, is a specialist at jumping on tables, throwing down the small objects that he finds there and then making them disappear. I have a funny story about this. One day my car key mysteriously disappeared. I used the spare copy for a month or so and in the meanwhile I went on looking everywhere for the main key. No way. Then one day it came to my mind to vacuum the bed mattress - something I do every 2-3 months. I lifted the mattress and there my key was, under the mattress. For a moment I seriously thought that I have become a sleepwalker ant that I myself had put the key under the mattress .... Then it occurred to me that some time before I had seen Gedeon slip between the mattress and the box spring ...

I don't pick up Domino when wearing delicate knit sweaters. I always change when I get home from work though so it's not too much of an issue. She doesn't shed that much so even though she likes to sleep in the closet on my sweaters I don't have problems. My dog is black but doesn't shed (she's a poodle) so I don't have to worry much about dog hair and lint rollers.

Sisi - that is a crazy story. I just found another tear in a bottom sheet and since I'm currently charging my phone, must acknowledge how many phone and laptop charging cords he's destroyed.

Sara - I see Domino making cameos in your pics, but don't recall having seen your poodle.
