I broke one of my rules (it's the weeks for that!) and bought not one, but two, pairs of shoes at NAS that have wrapped heels. Or is the correct term covered? I mean heels that have leather wrapped around them, vs. a stacked heel.

I'm hard on my shoes and tend to scratch up these kinds of heels: is there any kind of protective covering I can put on them? Any other advice? Thanks!
