Is there a name for this outfit?

It looks like the "hot pants" of the 70s to me. it was usually short snug shorts with a mini-dress with a split in the center or one side that went close to the waist to expose the shorts.

Ok. Thanks. I guess i was right in that there really is no name for it. What about this dress here? Just a dress or a name. It seems like they just cut it up and crossed the mid section with each other and hotpants underneath.

It seems like hotpants are in these days in Asia. Dress really looks cool, but probably not worn much in public i bet.
