Sal, I used to be dead set against all polyester, but I have a pair of Eileen Fisher pants in polyester crepe that I really like. I think the key is that they're wide and loose, so the breathability of the fabric might not matter as much.
Thanks Joy. I like "relaxed glam" too. I think Sal has a stronger element of that in her own style than I do in mine, but I'd like to up it a bit, so maybe these (or something similar) would be a way in.
shevia, yes! That camp exhibition was great, and really made me think.
Windchime, I agree. I don't really live a glam life, but I live in a city that has it in spades, so I'd like to at least acknowledge it in some small way.
notsaf, I wish I had a little bit more rock and roll, honestly. When I can get a haircut again, I have plans for something just sliiiiiightly more edgy.
JenniNZ, it's strange that the US doesn't really have that vestige of British culture (or at least that's what I associate with fascinators and such), despite having been a colony. I'm liking the thought of "subtle boho glam," maybe?
rachylou, maybe in the same way that many of us incorporate boho over the summer, a lot of us do the same with glam as holidays approach?
Star, I really like that they're reversible too!
cindysmith, I don't think I could handle much more than "glam lite"!
Liz, I think that's true. It's more a touch of this and a touch of that with their pieces. I thought it was interesting, though, that none of their capsules really appealed to me until this one, so maybe my style has more glam than it does romantic or classic or whatnot.
