Bonnie, it means Fast Fall Back Outfit...in other words a combination of items that becomes your 'go to' combo.
Hmm. Not all that sure of the difference Mochi...isn't a uniform slightly more set in the combination of items? Maybe an FFBO is more flexible within the combination as long as it follows a rough pattern.
Well there a lot in common for sure because it would be " tried and true" and therefore likely to be a favorite silhouette, aka uniform.
I think if FFBO's as outfits that use set pieces that I know work together without any thinking- and likely down to footwear and any accessories. No thinking, no secind- guessing.
FFBO's tend to be comfortable and forgiving as befits a hurried/ harried day , and also minimalist ( Fast!) but as noted, I could have a dressy FFBO. It's more about repeating a known combination for me, so no surprises or tossing items about while getting ready.
