I have two go to pieces that have drop shoulders and they're both work horses in my travel wardrobe. They're in a jersey that packs so well and are very forgiving if I indulge too much. I always feel so sexy in both items. There's something about a little skin at the shoulder that in my mind is flattering and a little titillating. I have been getting ready for a caribbean holiday and was planning on taking the blouse but when I looked at it I started to wonder if it's getting dated.

The blouse is a deep pink draped stretchy jersey that I like to pair up with white skinny pants, strappy sandles and dangly earrings.

The dress is a dark navy David Meister slim knee length with sparkly silver sequin shoulder straps and elbow length sleeves. I've worn it many times for fancy evenings, cruise ship formal nights, even a wedding with a aqua leather jacket to cover up in the church, etc.

I searched and found this article by Angie from spring 2012 when she talks about cold shoulder clothing but I'm wondering if that was last season?

So am I dating myself or is the cold shoulder here to stay?

I've added pics so you can see my 2 cold shoulder items.
