The only spring trends I've noticed are stripes, sailor pants, and the color lavender. The stripes and sailor pants get popular every spring but they seem to be everywhere right now and I'm only mentioning lavender because the fashionistas I watch on youtube tell me it's hot. Personally, I'm not a fan of lavender so that's one I'll probably skip unless the perfect thing comes along.
I love white jeans and look forward to wearing a pair of cropped flares I picked up at the end of last summer (I also LOVE the Anthropologie white jeans Angie posted above) with some white booties I got for Christmas. I know everyone says you can wear white in the winter and I also understand the history of the no white rule BUT old fashion rules die hard and as long as my poor mama walks this earth, she'll be damned if she's gonna let me walk outta the house in white before Easter. She's fine with winter white but I kind of agree with her that these jeans and boots look more spring/summer. It's tough because here in Georgia we get little doses of spring weather in February (heck, last week it got into the 60's) and it's really tempting to pull out the spring clothes early.
I have quite a few lightweight jackets and trench coats I'm looking forward to pulling out. I recently found a sweet navy trench with white piping I can't wait to wear. It's laying in my sewing pile right now because the sleeves are too long.
My big spring want is the perfect (for me) dress. After searching for this dress for years, I've finally decided to just make the dang thing. I also had a hard time finding a pattern for it and FINALLY found a vintage pattern that fits the bill. https://www.etsy.com/listing/2.....1&
If it turns out well, I plan on making a long sleeve version for winter.
