Is it rude to ask Angie....

I'm a faithful follower of YLF and base many purchases on Angie's recommendations. I have learned so much from Angie on putting together outfits. Is it rude to ask Angie where a particular item can be purchased or the brand of the item? For instance, I love Angie's black and white heeled patent oxfords and cannot locate them anywhere--would love to know the brand so I could search for them.

No, ask away! She always says where she got it if you ask, but often they are not available anymore. I think her oxfords are Doc Marten Saras? Though I could be wrong.

I am always happy to share where I got my things when you ask :)! But it is not my style to list where I bought my outfit components on the blog post.

Often though, my stuff is not available anymore because I don't just wear new stuff.

Those were not the Doc Saras - which I don't wear anymore because they are too high. I bought the dressy heeled oxfords on yoox.com a while ago. The brand is called "Again & Again". A heads up: the toe box is very pointy, so they won't work for a wider foot.

I've found that one of the most frustrating aspects of studying up on fashion is finding these pics of amazing items...and finding out that they're from seasons back and will likely never materialize in that exact form again. (Ebay is far from a sure bet.) Easier said than done, but try to use them as a jumping off point for inspiration in that case?

Thank you for your help, Angie. I love to see you mix your older items with newer items from your closet as that inspires me to do the same. In this case, I realized that I have several items which would look a little more dressed up with a black/wht patent shoe. I love wearing oxfords and have fussy feet, so I tend to really study your footwear.
