Definitely slow. But from what I understand, Nordstrom's inventory is pulled from both distribution centers and stores, so one item may be coming from New Jersey and the other from California.
It makes shipping times vary considerably, but I consider it the price paid for being able to access their entire inventory online. If an item is OOS online, the chances are high that it's not going to be found in any of the stores (although on occasion I've been lucky).
As for Amazon, shipping has become slower and slower, with my last two purchases taking ten days to arrive. Much of that time was simply having the order filled, not shipped. I finally gave in and became a Prime member, which is what Amazon wants of course, but it was very frustrating.
