My best friend and I have frequent debates about old fashion rules v. new fashion rules. Although she has her own fashion sense, she sometimes sticks with old fashion rules (never wear a skirt without a slip, white bottoms are only appropriate between Memorial Day and Labor Day, etc).

I'm hoping that you all can finally put this debate to bed. Is it appropriate to wear suede sandals during the spring and summer? I say "yes" and she unequivocally says "no."
