Is anyone wearing wide leg crops with booties?

not yet, but i've been "collecting" slightly higher shaft booties like crazy and if it ever drops below 75 here, i'm going to try my current booties with my crops to see if any of them work.

I will try it but haven't done it yet. With my shorter legs it is iffy but I am willing to try. I will start with toned column of colour looks. Not sure I will show skin since it is impractical most of the year.

I'm with Suz -- I'm not sure this is the most weather-practical look for northern climates. I doubt I will see much of it where I live, which is largely rural but with a student population mixed in. If it's warm enough for crops here, most people default to sandals (or sneakers). When you only get a few months of sandal time, you try to take maximum advantage. By the time the boots start coming out, all but the bravest will be in full-length pants. Not that I've seen many current/stylish crops here yet, anyway.

I have boots lined up, but not wearing yet because I'm still trying to eke the most enjoyment possible out of summer.

It's been too hot here to think of wearing boots. They had to cut off the A/C in my office 2 weeks ago to fix one of the units, and we were hot and miserable for 2 full work days. You can imagine how it felt in the sunny lobby where my desk is!

I might be, if I had wide-leg crops for fall. I tried a couple of pairs but returned them. I've put that search on hold for now. I like Tanya's phots for inspiration and am hoping some others turn up here!

I'm making some wide leg culotte type pants at the moment and fully intend wearing them with some high shaft booties or knee high boots. When I've finished them I'll be posting pics no doubt.

Okay, I remembered that I do have some pics of this, with different options. Please recall that the culottes in the straight on bedroom pics (1,2, 3) were deemed unflattering by some -- something about the camera angle, it turns out, because when I showed the culottes from my iphone pics people changed their tune. (pic 4)

Anyway, FWIW, with different booties/ shaft heights, styles -- 1 with sock booties from Zara, 2 with V front Munros, 3 with new grey Aquatalias, 4 with sandal bootie -- not a true bootie but higher shaft.

Thanks Suz. Yes, Freebirds could work but I will only be wearing those for another month or so.

Pics 1-3 are the most helpful to me (and I didn't have the same issue that other people had with feeling these pants are unflattering!).

I certainly intend to, once things cool down a bit more. I put off the whole bootie thing until I absolutely have to, because that season tend to last a while. Mind you, "bootie with sliver of skin showing" season needs to be taken advantage of, as it's only about 20min long.
