Is anyone else bothered by the back seams on the NYDJ ponte pants?

These pants fit beautifully and are very comfortable except the seams at the back really bother me. I am wondering whether I can get used to them. Or maybe when the weather is colder it will get better.

Am I the only one?

Do you mean bother you in the way that they feel, or the look of them?

I can't say that I felt them and I like the slightly different look they provide.

I meant that they seem to prick the back of my legs. Should I go up a size? It fits well as it is. It meant to be skinny pants, right?

I had an issue with these pants. Was very excited to give them a try but the lack of back pockets was a deal breaker. I would usually wear them with longer tops but wanted to have back pockets in case there is a flash of the rear view. The seams weren't uncomfortable, I just felt they looked too much like leggings. I love leggings but I was expecting these to be pants. They have faux pockets in front, wish they had added them to the back too. I'm going to stick with the J Crew Minnies.

I've learned from sad experience that if a piece of clothing bothers me, it won't get better with time. (There are a few exceptions, like stiff leather shoes that need breaking in.) I have low tolerance for unwanted sensations, and I know many of my friends are more flexible, so your mileage may vary.

I think your plan of trying them on a few more times is a good one. But if they still bother you, I'd return. My experience has been the same as Greyscale - if it bothers me at the beginning, it never gets better.

I didn't notice the seams, but I am returning them because the rise is too high and the length is too short.

I've ordered these but I'm worried I'm going to have the same issue as Suja. I like having the option of having the rear view show and pockets make them look more like pants to me. I'll make sure to pay attention to the seems too.

I did not even notice the back pockets issue. We do all have our own sensitive areas, I guess.

Maybe you should try another pair - maybe the seams on this one are not done well?

I had to return them not a good fit.I loved the Kut from the Kloth ponte black pants. They were so comfortable and fit like a glove.

I tried on it again and it still bothers me. I cannot believe that no one else felt the back seams. Now that I think about it, I had another pair of pants with back seams and I feel that one too. The difference is that the other pair is a loose fit so I only feel it occasionally.

The seams look good and I doubt it is quality issue. I think it is just one of those odd sensory issues. I have decided to return it.

I also ordered the Kut one and it has not arrived yet. Maybe that one will be better for me.
