Is a straw clutch with trench seasonally confused?

I think it's fine as long as the colour families are matched - like a tan trench with the clutch you posted would be fine. But it would look more mismatched if it was a darker trench - a navy or a black with a light coloured clutch.

Does that make sense? :p

This one looks rugged enough and textured enough to work fine with your outfit, although it might read a bit casual with your DVF wrap. My one worry is if it is going to rain, straw won't be the best thing to carry, even if it is treated.
