I've had this pin of Rooney Mara in this cutout dress for while, and just absolutely love her in it. I have seen quite a few cutout dresses lately, but most are short, flared skater dresses, and they just seem like they are showing too much for a MOTG or casual look. I'm not fancy and have no where "to go" so a dressy one wouldn't do much for me.
I spotted this Three Dots dress and though, huh, that could almost work for a nice S/S dress! I immediately liked the black one, but even the striped one is growing on me. Still, I think maybe my love of the Pinterest Pin is clouding my judgement. I thought the sleeves and the length might tone down the cutout? What would you think if you saw another mom in one of these dresses?
