Irregular Choice Shoes

I met a friend for coffee today in a lovely cafe off Carnaby Street called Sacred, I was a little early so had a browse around the shops (Carnaby Street area is one of my favourite shopping areas in London) and for the first time ever wandered into a shoe shop called Irregular Choice.

They have an American site and Maya, they have brogues as well - although I am not sure that you want patent leather ones?

Oh I had a pair of these a few years ago, but they were way too small on me so I could never wear them. I kept them in my closet for years because they were so adorable and I thought my feet might shrink, until I finally came to my senses and gave them away. I love the designs!

I have tried but never bought any Irregular Choice footwear. I have found they are difficult to walk in, not because of the heel but because of the shape.

I think I have been to the cafe you mentioned. I had the most yummy chocolate brownie.

I think Shoe Carnival must carry Irregular Choice. The second pair (the first pair in your wishlist) is there, anyway, and I've actually tried them on. It was completely silly because I know I can't handle that big of a heel, but they were really cute.

I love IC shoes but they are NOT comfortable. Everything from the shape to the material was all wrong for me.

I like Transport London shoes too which are by the same company I think.

Interesting to hear that some found them uncomfortable. I didn't have the opportunity to try them on, but I have reasonably unfussy feet so perhaps they will work on me.

I have a pair of Poetic Licence shoes and I think that they might be the same company too. They are 4 inch heels so only going out shoes (they are fine to walk in, but not office shoes).

Unfortunately, I have more boring shoes on my list. I need a pair of flat pumps and a pair of sandals for summer before I buy anything fun

Marianna - I think that you need to start shoe shopping in NZ. My foot size (39 Euro) is on the average/large size in the UK, but on the small size in NZ and there seems to be a bigger range or larger sized shoes available.
