I found both of these articles really interesting, and thought some of you might like to read them - especially if you have considered getting pieces custom-made (or like me, are simply curious.)
First of all, the adventures of working with overseas tailors - and with a very cooperative Savile Row cutter who allowed one of his suits to be used - to attempt to reproduce a superb suit, and finding that it was very difficult to do so. This reminded me of Angie's adventures with successful and unsuccessful custom-tailored pieces many years ago.

Second, the experience of getting an impeccably tailored corset perfectly fitted to your skeleton at San Francisco's Dark Garden. Corsets have never appealed to me personally - I don't do costuming/cosplay and they don't fit with my personal style - but boy, do I love to look. This is an incredible piece.
