MaryK recently posted a photo of her purple pencil skirt and cardigan.

I tried styling my similar pieces a while back but don't have MaryK's flair and wasn't very successful. These are more attempts, although working only with what is already in my wardrobe as inspiration.

Photo 1 is a more casual top than the other two but I felt the pattern evoked more of the watercolor feeling of MaryK's blouse.
Photo 2 is my AT bubble hem top and a skinny leopard belt. Maybe too much pattern right next to each other? I see now the belt doesn't really show up.
Photo 3 and were just to see how a plain white blouse would work, again with the leopard belt. I'm afraid this blouse needs to be relegated to underneath v-neck sweaters as it gapes in the front. Moving the button over probably won't make enough difference.
Photo 4 is my prior attempt.

For you members on team "not" matchy-matchy this is definitely is not your thing. If I do decide to go whole hog with the match-matchy look - do you find any of them to be successful? Thanks for your thoughts!
