A few weeks ago I cleaned out my closet prior to listing our
house for sale. This was the perfect
opportunity to take stock of my summer wardrobe and identify needs. There were holes to be sure, but like so many
people who commented on the post, I plan to skimp a bit on style and live in
anything that keeps me cool. I also
anticipate this summer to be particularly casual due to our move and the fact
it will take me a bit of time to find a new job.

I added a few tees, but the rest of my spending will be
focusing on running gear that can double as clean/unpack the house gear and
loungewear fit to be seen by the family.
Angie’s post yesterday was a timely reminder to up my loungewear game
because I’ll be spending the next few weeks vacationing with my parents and
then living in my in-laws’ basement until we close on our house in June.

I’m not planning to hang out in my loungewear around the
parents, but I certainly don’t enjoy getting fully dressed before I pour my
first cup of coffee. I’d like the freedom
to walk down the hall without wishing I had an invisibility cloak.

I live in a pretty rural area where Target is the best
option for sleepwear, so I spent some time reviewing my options last
night. I was pleasantly surprised by the
fit and feel of the Gillian & O’Malley woven cotton pajama pants, so I
purchased a few and I also picked up a few “sleep tees” (which I pretty sure I
can get away wearing semi-tucked under a topper). I’d still like to add a thin robe, but didn’t
like the options available.

Even though I returned home to only my dogs, I promptly put
on the new pajamas (Team Wear!). The
dogs loved them! By, the way, we’re
sleeping on the floor because the movers took everything yesterday.

Did anyone else take immediate action to upgrade after Angie's post?
