Angie is posting so many exciting suggestions these days, and since I'm in love with my new Breton top I gave the striped top-unexpected bottom a try. I'm not sure how unexpected this looks, though! The skirt has been a favorite of mine for many seasons, but I have worn it less recently. The buttons can be worn both at the front or at the back for different looks. I think they add some interest when worn in the front. Does the skirt look dated? I'm not really sure about that.
I kept the outfit free of jewelry for a pretty casual look, and I like the structured red coat with both the shapes and the colors. Since we're in November and the first snow already has been here, I also included a photo with a beanie/hat - what do you think?
