Brooklyn - I have noticed the same thing, we give others lots of space when walking and couple that with a smile and wave to be friendly. Dog lovers and walkers are generally lovely people.

Smittie - hopefully the crisis will be averted soon, I do think we will all be changed from this experience.

Joy - keeping a safe distance is so important at this time. My doggies don’t understand because they are so sociable, but as an owner, I take the social distancing responsibility very seriously. It is a privilege to be allowed outside that I do not want to lose.

The park itself is open near me but there is red tape over the climbing/ play & exercise equipment. It doesn't seem to stop some people though... they just swoop under the tape & start using the bars, anyway.

Have seen some security being deployed to patrol the park at peak times - holding out hope that they won't close the entire park because of these offenders but seems unlikely...

Zaeobi- I hope your park does not close. Such a shame when a small minority do the wrong thing and put everyone else at risk.
