One of my favorite outfits I've seen from you! The dress fits you beautifully and the jacket is great over it. Like you mention in your blog, shortening the dress would be even better, but overall it is very nice.

Wow - thanks everyone for all the great feedback!!! Eiffel - I bought this dress last year, so you might have to check secondhand stores - ha ha!!

Is it a coincidence that the outfit where everything is new is the best one yet.....?
Or maybe I'm just getting better at putting things together....yea that's it!!

Brenda- another ovation from me! You look fabulous in this! Love this cropped cardi on you-- so cheeky looking.

I really don't think it's a coincidence that your new stuff makes up the best outfits. The new looks add freshness that styles 5 or so years old just don't.

Also, I will admit that my first impression was that the dress could stand to be a tad shorter. Right at or above your knee would make it perfect IMO.

It's not a coincidence at all!
Second hand shops are great, but you have to be just as picky with that stuff (even more so) than with regular retail.
You look so much longer and leaner than in those long dresses.

I think this challenge is really highlighting a progression in your style.

I also believe it is good to try on new trends on the high street then you understand what details to look for when you thrift.
