Inspiration Calendar - Colorful Skirt/Cardi and Fun Belt Combo

Hello! I have a question about a vest/top in my last post. It actually photographs pretty well, but when I wore it, it just felt huge on me. What do you think - keep or toss?

Those two outfits are certainly inspiring! Really nice. About the yellow vest: I think it might be perfect worn with a colorful print scarf and dark skinny jeans. But I do know EXACTLY what you mean about your preference for form-fitted tops. My chest gets totally lost if a garment isn't REALLY fitted, preferably with princess seams.

I can't wear any shade of yellow, but it certainly looks fab on you!

Brenda- my thought when I saw it was to wear it over skinnies and belt it to add some waist definition. But if you really are swimming in it.. then it should probably be tossed.

Wow, that first yellow top ensemble looks fantastic! Seriously, you're an A cup?? You look so vavavoom (in a good way!). I would wear that top every day if I looked as good as you in it!! You look like you've lost weight too.

I think the long vest looks too big - toss!

You look beautiful in that colour! But I vote toss the sleeveless gillet because that particular silhouette is dated and its too big for lovely you too. However, you look FABULOUS in the first outfit. One of the best I have ever seen you post :0)

Gillets are coming back into fashion though, as per the 90's revival, but the fit is quite different.

And I learned a new vocabulary word today! Gillet, gillet, gillet! (According to dictionary.com and wikipedia.com, it's one "L," but if Angie says it's two L's, then I believe her!)
