Inspiration Calendar - Black Cardigan & Bright Scarf

Hello! Tuesday's Inspiration Calendar was a cardi and scarf, and I didn't wear a belt over the cardi. I'm wondering if the length and the style of the cardi make that OK....

You are doing great with the inspiration calendar. I would have preferred a little less volume in the cardigan but I really like your colour combos and jeans tucked into your boots.

I think I must have missed the start of this - do you create your own Inspiration Calendar or did it come from elsewhere? I absolutely love the idea! I am always cutting out images yet never doing anything with them. I just might copy you!

I agree with RoseandJoan, the cardigan looks a little big. Did you try belting it, maybe that would cinch it in a bit. Or maybe try it open with the undershirt belted or tucked in? I like the colors and it's a cute outfit!

I love how you are following the inspiration calendar. Did you realize that you are a whole week ahead? Or are you just choosing the ones that you want to replicate?

I like the outfit and would be very curious to see what it looks like with a belt over the cardigan...and also perhaps with the belt under the cardigan but the cardigan open. If you decide to try it, let us have a look! Colors of the scarf are quite flattering.

The turquoise blue with the black cardi is so pretty! The cardi looks too big under the arms as if the arm openings are too low (compare it to the inspiration photo) so belting might not help much. I like the colors and scarf. You look like you are ready for spring even if it's a cool day.

Thank you all so much for the feedback - I suspected the cardi was a little big, and I tried it with a belt, but it seemed to gather quite a bit. Maybe next time I'll try what Kyle suggested - the belt under the cardi.....

Bella - yes, I didn't realize it until just this week that she had skipped the first week to do some challenge. So this last week I'm just piecing stuff together.

wow! how far you've come from when you were asking us about wearing ankle length skirts Your style quotient is really soaring these days. while the cardigan might be a tad big, the outfit is still quite hip! keep up the good work Brenda
