I recently binge-watched the new Netflix drama, Rough Diamonds. I strongly recommend it. It's an engaging thriller, where characters switch swiftly and seamlessly amongst several languages.
Unless you are into modest fashion, it's not a particularly inspiring movie, since it takes place amongst the Hasidic Jewish community in Antwerp, Belgium (hi, Inge!). But I was struck by the way the costume designers created this one character's wardrobe. The centerpiece is a gorgeous bright green tweed blazer. The character, Kerra, styles the blazer differently several times throughout the show. This is very believable because she is stuck on what was supposed to be a short trip and she's supposedly making do with what she has in her carry-on.
#2-3 with a forest green turtleneck and sand color pants. This color combo is gorgeous!
#4 - a beige turtleneck and light-wash mom jeans
#5 - a cinnamon-colored shirt and the same sand pants from before.
#6-7 The costume designers must have thought these colors go very well with her coloring (I completely agree) and the mood of the show because she has 2 more green jackets at home that she combines with similar colors.
Now I want a green tweed jacket. Unfortunately, I can't order to my part of the world from amazon.com, but for those who can, here is a similar piece:
