Does your inseam change as scoliosis progresses? What about your rise length? For many years I was 5'6" and my best length was 31 inches (heels don't vary much in height for me.) Last regular Dr appt she told me I have shrunk to 5'4." I'm 64 if that matters. I've been basically homebound with health issues since we moved to the boonies. Normally wear long skirts and nightgowns. Bad hips make trying things on difficult and returning items are worse, so I need to be pretty sure I want something. There are no tailoring businesses/stores nearby or retailers either and I don't sew. In late January I had a really bad, but simple fall, (just took a couple steps after getting up for the day and my knee just buckled. I fractured myTibia (main calve bone) in 3 places, Fibia (supporting bone) in 2 spots. Needed a metal plate, several screws put in- my scar runs from just under my knee to ankle bone- and told not to take even 1 step with bad leg till my recheck appt with surgeon later this month. He said I must have osteoporosis because of all the injuries and pieces of my bone had literally crumbled that he had to clean up. So, needless to say, haven't even tried several jeans I had ordered in a shorter inseam (others too long to scrunch). Should I send everything back *untried* and see how summer is? My one pair I'd been using got really damaged in the dryer somehow, so cant use them and threw out. .Appreciate your thoughts!
