Inpiration Calendar - Black, White & Gray (also stripes under dress!)

Hello! This outfit I'm wearing is actually an old standby/style that I wear during the summer often - skirt/cami/cardigan. It's my GOTG outfit(g is for girl - I'm not a mom!)

For those of you who follow the Inspiration Calendar, Monday's outfit "Sheath dress over Stripes" was a little odd. BUT! I may have found something that's doable!

I like the first one very, very much! I'd also love to see it with maybe some red accessories - red beads and shoes, maybe?

The dress over stripes is cute. I had a very similar outfit that I used to wear in high school with boots. I'm not sure, though, to my eye it looks a bit little-girlish to me now? But the dress fits you very well.

Also, great new hair!

Thanks, Tricia. That's the second comment I've had about it looking too girlish, so I may have to glam it up a bit.....

And unfortunately, that photo was taken after the hair appointment, so today, with a new wash, and me at the wheel, it looks nowhere near what it did yesterday.....

Your hair is so cute! I especially like the first outfit. You look slim and classic. The sheath with stripes is a cute casual look. The lower neckline on the sheath seems better for this style, don't you think? It does look young but you look young.

I also think the short sleeved striped tee under the sheath is darling! I like it better than the long sleeves for 2 reasons-- first, I think the lower neckline of that tee is more flattering, and the short sleeves keep the stripes from overwhelming the outfit. Do you have a longish strand of beads you can add to that as well? That might be really cute too.
