Ink Out - YouLookFab Forum

I was delighted to see Angie's Ink Out post a few days ago. I do this often and thought I would have a dozen outfits to show, but turns out I don't wear it as often as I thought - there are only 5 (so far) this year.

1: Inky blue slim trousers with 3/4 sl cobalt tunic and lighter blue scarf. Same trousers with heathered navy cashmere pullover worn over light blue linen button up (both tops pilfered from husband's side of the closet).

2: Ink blue and black patterned skirt worn with two different ink blue tops. Loose fitting ink blue bootcut trousers worn with cobalt cashmere pullover.

As you can see I'm not doing so well with my Edwardian gentleman naturalist goal, although I do think my stealthy bohemian tendencies can be seen?

Blues look so fab on you! And yes, your boho leanings are coming through very nicely. I also love your use of long pendants, they work beautifully for you. Looking gorgeous.

Yay for blues! You look beautiful in all of these & very east meets wild wild west. I think the collared shirt outfit is probably most Edwardian naturalist, but they're all great outfits.

Do you have a vest/waistcoat? That might add an extra touch of the Edwardian.

(Oh & on the subject of naturalists, have you read any of Andrea Barrett? If not, you should look into it!)

Definitely see more bohemian than Edwardian, but no matter! Your blues look terrific on you!

You do look wonderful in blue. I think you are missing a pith helmet - a wardrobe basic for an Edwardian gentleman naturalist

Oh, you wear those blues so well MG with your colouring and rich brown hair. I agree with Deb, you wear a long pendant well, it's kind of your jewellery signature, lovely.
