I met up with a friend for a delicious brunch this morning at one of my favorite cafes; enjoyed great conversation and dined on Salmon eggs Benedict, Yum!
Wearing:
My black drape front jacket over a sheer ink and black patterned sweater that I layer over a wide-strapped black camisole. I like this sweater-I got it in 2014-but it was only this past year that I figured out how best to wear it. It's best worn in summer when I need only minimal coverage over my arms, and the first year that I tried it I felt seasonally confused, but managed to break it out a few times in summer 2015 with an ink pleated skirt or black culottes. The rest of the year I like it best layered under a jacket as it adds far more textural interest than a basic black or blue knit top.
Wore basic ink bootcut jeans with low black booties, and let the accessories take center stage-green and navy patterned scarf, emerald specs and cobalt cross body purse.
(Edited to add pic; I keep finding Lucy with my accessories while I'm getting undressed!)
Smelling:
I am wearing Kenzo Jungle L'Elephant. This was one of the scents I had considered at the beginning of my scent exploration journey. It quickly rocketed up to become a favorite. It's quite spicy but sweet, not heavy or bitter. It's like that heady smell you get opening a high quality spice drawer, a rush of flavors. I crave chai and cardamom, clove and cumin when I wear it.
